Mukhyamantri Annapurna Yojana under Public Distribution System

- At present, 228666 eligible families of the public distribution system of AAY And primary families (BPL and other 24 categories) beneficiaries are regular delivery done through POS machine from 1st to 21st of the month.
- Online allocation of shop wise beneficiaries is issued from the state level, which is transported under the Supply Scheme by the Civil Supplies Corporation by transporting food grains (wheat and rice), salt and sugar from the warehouse to the fair price shop.
- The scheme provides for distribution of 35 kg of foodgrains to each AAY family] 01 kg of salt and 1 kg of sugar per family and 5 kg of food grains to 01 kg of salt per family to the primary families. 2 kerosene to the AAY family. There is a provision to distribute 1.5 liters to the primary family, but the supply is only variable per month.
- 355 fair price shops are being operated by cooperative societies / consumer stores / forest committees / self help groups in the district.
Beneficiary:
Under the scheme, eligible beneficiaries of Antyodaya Anna Yojana and Primary families (families of B-PL and other 24 categories) will get 5 kg free rice per month per member.
Benefits:
Under the scheme, poor and poor families will get food security.
How To Apply
Under the scheme, the applicant concerned by the local body (urban / rural) will have to verify any eligible category out of the 25 eligible categories prescribed by the government in the office of the secretary / urban body.
