Goatry unit (10+1)

Upgradation of desi goat breed. To increase meat production. To increase income of beneficiaries. This scheme is bank loan oriented.  In this scheme livestock owners can apply for goatry unit. After approval of loan beneficieries should purchase 10 goat and 1 buck (male goat) of good breed like Jamnapari/ sirohi/ Barbari breed so that desi breed of goat will be upgraded. 

Beneficiary:

all categories (SC/ST/OBC/General), Age- 18 to 40 years

Benefits:

Unit Cost- Rs. 77456. subsidy/margin money- SC/ST – 60% (Rs. 46474/-) OBC/General- 40% (Rs. 30982), 10% beneficiary contribution and remaining bank loan.
